We want to give the clearest and most honest picture of what our cottages are like. We have added below comments left in our visitor's book for you to see. This is every comment we've had so far, totally un-edited. Gallery cottage was completed in late July 2008.

A fantastic two weeks in Porthgain, the cottage was a good base, a home from home! We will be back to enjoy this in the future thanks Huw & Annie!!

Dear Huw & Annie, thank you for a wonderful stay at your gorgeous little cottage. We were most comfortable and had a very relaxing time. Had a lovely week – weather fine but cold! Stars were amazing at night from the harbour. Cottage cosy – everything we needed. The Shed serves excellent Fish & Chips, Sloop – a little disappointing (food) but lovely atmosphere. Recommend a visit to Little Haven, Newgale Sands, Whitesands, St. Davids & Coastal Path walks – saw a seal opposite ‘the bitches’ and our cocker spaniel ‘puppy’ had a ball running on the beaches! I’ll treasure my picture from the gallery Huw – a lovely way to remember our holiday – will recommend the cottage to friends – it’s a real treasure!! Happy New Year & all the best for 2009!

Fabulous few days in the depth of winter, Weather actually quite good apart from one day. Cottage is beautiful, really cosy and well furnished, very tasteful. Wonderfully situated for the Sloop & The Shed and of course the sea.

Bracing costal walks, stunning scenery, spring flowers, golden sunshine, Fine dining at The Shed and great pub grub at The Sloop. Warm, cosy and amazing artwork in the cottage...all the ingredients for a peaceful break away for the hustle and bustle of city life! We shall return when the batteries need recharging!

What a lovely cottage...cosy and warm...full of character...we could easily live here! We have been blessed with good weather with our last night honouring us with a fantastic storm. The sea was a sight to behold. The Kestrels and Peregrine falcons have been around the cliff tops...a joy to watch. Looking forward to coming back, Diolch yn Fawr.
