Harbour Lights Gallery is set in the picturesque coastal
village of Porthgain, nr St. Davids - one of Pembrokeshire's many
attractions. It is an area which has long been beloved of artists, drawn by
its light and unspoiled coastline, and work by many of these artists is
displayed in this gallery, which evolved at the request of the artists
themselves.
For some years it was their own personal collection of paintings, which
included work by John Knapp-Fisher and Peter Daniels, that adorned the walls
of their award winning restaurant.
When Peter Daniels discovered that this was creating a
significant increase in sales from his own gallery at Nine Wells he persuaded
Anni and her husband Huw to use the wall space as a showcase to sell his
work, and that of other professional artists.
It was not long before this small gallery became a success story for
the couple, and they realised that they needed more room to accommodate the
work of the high calibre artists who were clamouring for space at Harbour
Lights. The layout was improved and it reopened on Good Friday 1997 with
double the wall space.

web site or the physical gallery can be assured of finding a very varied
selection of work.
